GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026: 2510 Posts, Apply by 6 Oct

What was announced

The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation has invited online applications under advertisement GSRTC/202627/47 to fill 2,510 Helper posts by direct recruitment on fixed pay. By number of posts this is one of the largest Gujarat recruitments open right now, and it is a Class-4 cadre, so the qualification bar is an ITI rather than a degree.

Applications are open until 6 October 2026.

Pay

A fixed ₹21,100 a month for five years. The notification states this plainly for the Helper cadre.

The ITI trade list matters

This is where most candidates go wrong. The one-year ITI course has to be in one of fourteen named trades: Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, General Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Sheet Metal Worker, Automobile Body Repairer, Welder, Welder cum Fabricator, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter General, or Automobile Painter Repairer.

An ITI in a trade outside that list does not qualify. The notification also requires clear vision.

Two deadlines, not one

The application window closes on 6 October 2026 (23:59), but the combined process fee is accepted until 8 October 2026 (23:59). Applications without the fee are set aside, so the fee date is the one that actually decides your candidature.

If you submit more than one application, only the last one with the fee paid is considered and the rest are treated as cancelled.

Worth knowing

The Corporation reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, and to revise the reserved-category split as per the roster policy. Keep the mobile number and email you enter working until the recruitment finishes, because all further notices go to the GSRTC website and to that contact.
